Quality Assurance
Thanks to the guidance and leadership of our QA manager Xavier Lemiegre, GOODMARK EUROPE is very optimistic to obtain the IFS BROKER certificate in the course of 2018. All procedures started last November 2017 and this is an important ongoing project.
As supply chain globalization grows, raw materials and products continue to be sourced in new ways and from different sources. Goodmark Europe is an integral element in bringing producers and retailers together and by obtaining the IFS Broker certification, GME wants to ensure the safety and quality of their products, filling the gap between production and distribution. Trading partners expect the importer to communicate their product requirements to manufacturers and that these specifications will be understood and implemented.
IFS Broker audits are carried out by qualified auditors of independent accredited and approved certification bodies. The standard includes the following topics: senior management responsibility, quality and product safety management system, resource management, planning and services process, measurements, analysis, improvements and product defense.
The objectives are to establish a common standard with a uniform evaluation system, to work with accredited and qualified certification bodies and auditors, to ensure comparability and transparency throughout the entire supply chain and to reduce cost and time for both suppliers and retailers.
